September 2006- present. San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Created the Bay Quilt Project. Working with approximately 10 classes for the 2006 – 2007 school year to create bay themed quilts as a follow up to bay related field trips.
September 2006- present. Children’s Discovery Museum, San Jose, CA. During the 2006-2007 school year assisting classes involved in the BioSITE program create quilts about the Guadalupe River ecology.
June 2005 – present. Marine Science Institute, Redwood City, CA. Teaching a variety of programs on the ecology of San Francisco Bay.
November 2006. Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center, Hayward, CA. Helped children created a bay ecology quilt for display at the center.
August 2006. Fabrics N’ Fun, Milpitas, CA. Developed and taught class to children on making an embellished ocean scene quilt.
Summer and Fall 2006. Children’s Discovery Museum, San Jose, CA. Worked in the garden creating garden themed group quilts with visitors.
May 2006. Hands on the Arts, Sunnyvale, CA. Lead a nature printing activity with children at the Sunnyvale Community Center’s Hands on the Arts festival.
April 2006. Children’s Discovery Museum, San Jose, CA. Creating a quilt with over 300 visitors helping out to celebrate the ecology of the Guadalupe River.
